Steve Pokk
Welcome to RX Life Challenge! I’m Steve Pokk, the driving force behind RX Life and RX Life Challenge, your ultimate online fitness destination. With over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, I’ve devoted my career to helping individuals push their minds and bodies to their limits, continuously learn, and give back to the community.
My Journey:
I launched the RX Life and RX Life Challenge to create an innovative platform that makes fitness engaging and rewarding. Through our unique programs and challenges, users can track their food intake and key fitness statistics while competing for exciting prizes. It’s fitness gamified, designed to keep you motivated and on track toward your goals.
Experience:
From 2014 to 2020, I served as the founder, owner, head programmer, and fitness director, overseeing athletes and leading a team of coaches.
As the owner and trainer since 2011, I’ve designed programs through platforms like True Coach, Coach RX, and Fit Builder. I manage individual clients and train small groups of athletes. My responsibilities include individual consultations, assessments, program designs, nutrition guidance, and goal setting. I’ve also provided corporate training for various companies.
As a master trainer since 2008, I’ve been responsible for the success of personal training clients, conducting numerous sessions per month.
Spartan Race: Since 2016, I’ve contributed as a freelance coach and program designer, assisting in SGX L1 certification and contributing content to Spartan.com.
My strengths lie in relationship building, employee and business development, creative thinking, and leadership. I thrive on turning weaknesses into strengths and proving myself through action, not words. I also organize community events like RX Life Challenge live events, Brooklyn Fit Fest, and Spartan Bootcamps.
I hold a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from The Pennsylvania State University and numerous certifications, including NASM CPT/CES/PES, OPEX Fitness CCP (in progress), USAW L1, Crossfit L1/L2 Instructor, Crossfit Kids Instructor, Crossfit Gymnastics, Spartan SGX Coach and OS Specialist, and AED/CPR certification.
Justin
Justin is a NASM CPT/Hyrox Certified Trainer
He is the epitome of a fitness enthusiast, always looking for the next challenge from 50k mountain races, Hyrox, to anything that makes him nervous.
He fell in love with fitness once he joined the Army, at the time he couldn’t do 10 push-ups, but that drove him to keep working. By the time he left the Army, he had the highest PT score in his battery. Since then if anyone asks him to do something physical he always says yes. He believes you learn a lot about yourself when you struggle.
Besides the gym, he has wonderful boy/girl twins. They motivate him to stay healthy more than anything now.
Justin genuinely enjoys watching people do what they thought they couldn’t do. He loves seeing people fall in love with the routine. He always tells people if they enjoy the process the end goal doesn’t matter, they just enjoy the ride.
